The gameplay is a Modified On-Rails system. (Modification = Sword Control)
The levels are amazingly detailed and no two are alike! You can even cut the grass and kill the villagers!
The graphics were pretty damn good...for the Wii, at least.
Way more interactivity than Sonic and the Secret Rings but much less than Sonic Unleashed.
There are no glitches that I could find in the game...so it's better than Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) for sure!

I really think it is a good game for the Sonic Storybook Series...but I would've really perferred a more Sonic Unleashed gameplay style. In this game it's more about the storyline than the gameplay, I would think! Movement is with the Control Stick instead of the tilting of the Wii Remote (THANK GOD!), because the Wii Remote is used for the sword. Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, and Blaze are playable in a battle mode! (There might be Silver, but I haven't unlocked them all yet...)
There are some things in the game that I just want to congratulate SEGA on, but there's also stuff I want to just go up to the producer and pop a damn cap in his ass!
Overall though, you would like this game if you are a huge Sonic fan.
If you're not, then stay away from the game and go worship your damn fatass plumber you dumbfucks! Well, I guess that's all I have to say on the game!
